Dear Miles:

Just got back from the funeral (Aski’s). There was a huge turnout – and I saw lots of our classmates too. I had to park half way to A F Raymond and walk to the crematorium.

There was such a large crowd that I just was able to shake hands and give a hug – as did most of our guys.

I can draw a parallel with Ruzly Hussain here. Finally it was just Ruzly and his two boys and the vacuum was obviously too vast.

With Jebba too you could see that he was bravely soldiering on – just him and his two boys.

Talking to him – maybe will be when he settles down. At that time I will tell him that all our guys in Australia – you, Upali, Anil W., Ranjith Sam, etc., all conveyed their sympathies.

Our deepest sympathies are with them.

Regards

Faiz-ur Rahman
